Hi there internet!
So with 2025 well underway, I thought it was time to actually sit down and write another post for the "blog". I obviousyl started it ages ago with best intentions, but with everything I was pushing with the business last year, it got a bit forgotten.
However a quiet blog versus lots of happy clients is always going to be worth it!
The main reason I wanted to jump back into writing a blog was so I could celebrate the successful expanding of my business services! For years now I have been very proud to work all across the country, offering prestigous and best in class drone content. With various bits of supporting ground footage here and there. However more and more I kept finding myself wanting to deliver more, and do more.
So last year, after having the most cases of lost clients due to the ever expanding popularity of drones and everyone wanting to be a commercial operator, I took the plunge! After spending a long time convincing the wife it was a great idea, I invested in a fantastic array of traditional film and photography gear.
I am know the proud owner of 2 Canon R6 II, DJI RS4's, and a whole host of amazing Rode audio gear, and lighting rigs. It was a very exciting time to be shopping for me.
Since this, I have been driving my marketing towards my premium media services. Not a drone related pun entirely but it has certainly taken off. I have had some fantastic real estate clients, worked with lots of amazing couples capturing their beautiful wedding days, and partnered with lots of local organisation to deliver top-notch media event coverage.
Being now comfortably into 2025, momentum is only increasing. I am of course am still driving my exceptional drone services, but am also so proud to have successfully being able to expand my business to allow me to continue to create and develop incredible media for everyone.
Already this year my calender has been filling up nicely with lots of weddings and events, streams of property and project best work, and unfortunately even a few cases of SAR.
All in all though I am very excited to watch 2025 continue, especially as I have even more great and ambitious plans for where to take CopleyX.
